KHS BIKE BUS
Ride your bike to Kings Highway Elementery school. In collaboration with KHS & Westport Police Department
A group of children and adults who bike together as a group on a set route, in this case to school. The “bus driver,” an adult on a bike, guides the group along the route. Kids and their parents join the group on their own bikes when the pack comes by their “bus stop”. (In our case, we all start and end together)

Biking is a fun and healthy way to get to school and be with your community. Riding a bike also helps youngsters develop confidence, which is essential when exploring their independence.
WHY:
NOTE:
After completing the ride to KHS, bicycles can be parked safely at the school. Pick-up of the bikes happens anytime between 9am - 3:30pm (no bike pick-up during dismissal).
